The much awaited teaser of Rajinikanth starrer Kaala has been postponed by a day, as per the latest update released by the film’s team. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film’s teaser was supposed to be unveiled on March 1; however, the teaser will now be released on March 2.

Dhanush, who produced the film, stated that the decision has been taken due to the demise of Kanchi seer Jayendra Saraswati Shankaracharya. “Due to the demise of respected Jagadguru Poojyashri Jayaendra Saraswati Shankaracharya, as a mark of respect Kaala teaser will be released on 2nd March. Apologies to all the fans who were eagerly waiting for the teaser,” Dhanush posted on Twitter.

Rajinikanth will be seen as a gangster in this drama, which is reportedly inspired from a real life story in Mumbai. Huma Qureshi is the lead actress and it stars several actors from Bollywood in crucial roles.
