Now that he has taken a plunge into politics, his opinions and ideologies are being observed and scrutinised even more by public and media at large.
Recently, during an interactive session with his fans on Twitter, when he was asked about his take on caste and its impact on next generation, Kamal Haasan revealed some interesting details about his approach to the whole issue. “I refused to fill in the caste and religion column in both my daughters’ school admission certificate. That’s the only way it will pass on to the next generation. Every individual should start contributing for progress. Kerala started implementing the same. Those who do should be celebrated,” Kamal Haasan replied.
Needless to say, his reply has gone viral and a lot of people appreciated him for taking this stand. Currently, he’s busy strengthening his political party and he’s also hosting Bigg Boss Season 2 in Tamil.
