The mega action spectacle Ponniyin Selvan 2, directed by Mani Ratnam, is all set to arrive in theatres on 28th April 2023. The team started promoting the film, and Karthi made some interesting remarks during an event.
Karthi said that Hindi audiences found it tough to understand the first part due to the presence of many characters. He stated that it would be confusing to read a novel that has many characters and added that by the time one reaches the tenth page, there is a chance to forget a few characters.
Karthi noted that post the film’s release on OTT, people understood the film nicely, and hence he expects the sequel to perform better. Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha essay other important roles.
