Actor Karthi faced a failure after achieving back-to-back hits. His landmark 25th film, Japan, failed to meet expectations and ended up as a colossal failure. Raja Murugan directed this heist comedy-drama, and Anu Emmanuel played the leading lady.
The movie is now available for streaming on Netflix in Tamil along with English subtitles . The Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada versions will be made available soon. The film made its OTT debut a month after its theatrical release.
SR Prabhu produced Japan under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures production. Sunil, Vijay Milton, KS Ravikumar, Sanal Aman, Vagai Chandrasekar, and others played key roles. The film’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. Those who missed watching this film in theatres can catch it on Netflix now.
