Korean Kanakaraju is continuing its solid run at the box office, with its horror-comedy blend connecting well with audiences. The film is emerging as a notable success for Varun Tej, with the latest ticket sales underlining its impressive growth.
The film sold 1.20 lakh tickets on BookMyShow on Day 1, while Day 2 saw a bigger jump with 1.40 lakh tickets sold, marking the highest single-day sales for the film so far. The sharp rise comes on the back of positive word of mouth.
Sunday is expected to be strong as well, and it remains to be seen how much the film collects by the end of its first weekend.
Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, the film stars Ritika Nayak as the female lead. Produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, Korean Kanakaraju has music composed by Thaman.
