The biopic of legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muthiah Muralidaran, 800, was released recently in theatres. Muthiah Muralidharan holds the record for the highest number of wickets (800) in Test cricket. Hence, the film is titled 800. Madhur Mittal, known for his performance in Slumdog Millionaire, played the legendary cricketer.
Madhur Mittal received solid acclaim for his terrific performance. Initially, the film made its OTT debut on Jio Cinema. Now, the latest update is that the movie is also available for streaming on Prime Video in multiple languages.
800 is directed by MS Sripathy. The biographical film also features Nasser, Naren, and Mahima Nambiar in crucial roles. Produced by Vivek Rangachari of Train Motion Pictures, this biopic has its music rendered by Ghibran.
