On May 17, 2024, Disney Plus Hotstar released an animated series based on the acclaimed Baahubali movie franchise titled Baahubali: Crown of Blood. SS Rajamouli served as producer, with Kang and Navin John directing, known for their work on The Legend of Hanuman.
Initially, Baahubali: Crown of Blood premiered with 2 episodes, and subsequently, new episodes were released weekly, completing the series with a total of 9 episodes. Recently, all episodes have been made available for binge-watching. Despite this, the series encountered challenges, leaving its renewal for a second season uncertain.
