Director Lokesh Kanagaraj surprised the audience by revealing the first-look poster of Thalaivar 171. In the poster, Rajinikanth was depicted as a thief, and the image took the internet by storm. The director made some interesting comments about this biggie at an event.
Lokesh Kanagaraj said, “Thalaivar171 will be in my style completely. It will be a 100% Lokesh film. There is a lot of discussion on social media regarding the film’s storyline based on the poster. At present, I won’t reveal anything, but all that I can say at this point is that the movie will be very different. We want to show Rajini sir in a never-before manner, and we are working towards achieving it.”
Thalaivar171 won’t revolve around drugs, and Lokesh is said to be trying something new with the film. Sun Pictures is bankrolling this project, and Anirudh Ravichander will provide the tunes. The title launch will happen on 22nd April.
