Love Insurance Kompany (LIK) is the upcoming release of Pradeep Ranganathan. Krithi Shetty plays his on-screen romantic interest, under the direction of Vignesh Shivan. The film is scheduled to release on April 10 in both Tamil and Telugu.
Today, the makers released the Telugu teaser, which had originally debuted in Tamil seven months ago. The same content has now been released with minor changes, such as updated signboards.
The teaser suggests a light and playful mix of romance, comedy, and futuristic elements. It showcases the hero falling for Dheema (Krithi Shetty) at first sight. However, she is not interested in the fleeting “situationships” and “textationships” that define relationships in 2040. Instead, she seeks something simple and lasting.
Standing in their way is Suriya, played by SJ Suryah, the owner of Love Insurance Kompany, a powerful dating platform. Why he tries to stop them and what his true motives are will be revealed when the film releases.
The cast also includes Yogi Babu, Seeman, Gouri Kishan, Shah Ra, and Malavika. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is produced by Nayanthara, SS Lalit Kumar, and L.K. Vishnu Kumar. The Telugu version will be released by Shree Padmini Cinemas.
