Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s upcoming film Maa Inti Bangaram is all set to arrive in cinemas on June 19, 2026. The film was initially expected to release in May, but the makers later shifted it to June.
During a recent Instagram Q&A session, Samantha interacted with fans and confirmed that the release date is now locked, putting an end to speculation about another postponement.
Interestingly, Samantha also revealed a fascinating detail about the film’s journey. According to her, director Nandini Reddy originally developed the script with Sai Pallavi in mind. However, due to her packed shooting commitments, Sai Pallavi could not take up the project. The script was subsequently reworked for Samantha, who eventually came on board not only as the lead actress but also as one of the producers.
Reacting to Samantha’s revelation, Sai Pallavi shared a heartfelt message on Instagram. Wishing the entire team the very best, she stated that the film was destined to be Samantha’s and sent hugs to both Samantha and director Nandini Reddy. She also signed off with the words, “And yes, soon,” sparking curiosity about a possible collaboration between the two talented actresses in the future.
Directed by Nandini Reddy, Maa Inti Bangaram features a strong ensemble cast that includes Gulshan Devaiah, Diganth Manchale, Gautami, Sreemukhi, Srilakshmi, Anjali, and Sathyaraj. The film is being produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Himank Reddy Duvvuru, and Raj Nidimoru under the Tralala Moving Pictures banner, while Santhosh Narayanan has composed the music.
