In a surprising turn of events, Bollywood actor Sahil Khan has been arrested by the Mumbai Cyber Cell’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) for his alleged involvement in the Mahadev betting app case.
Sahil was taken into custody this morning in Chhattisgarh after the Bombay High Court denied his request for temporary release. Following the court’s decision, he fled Mumbai but was apprehended after a 40-hour operation with the help of Chhattisgarh Police. The Style actor will be presented before the court very soon,
Recently, star actress Tamannaah Bhatia has also been summoned by the Mumbai Cyber Cell for allegedly promoting illegal IPL streaming on the Fairplay app, a sister platform of the Mahadev betting app. She is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
