After getting off to a half-a-million dollar start from the Wednesday premieres and an underwhelming Thursday, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 25th film, Maharshi, has picked up the momentum and is going to strong at the US box-office. Until Thursday night, Maharshi collected $687K across the US.
And until Friday night, Maharshi grossed a decent $210 from 201 locations until 12:30 AM EST. The film’s 2-day US total gross including the premiere shows is $896K. Maharshi is all set to enter the $1 million club by Saturday and is expected to collect a decent gross on Sunday as well. But, the real test for the film begins on Monday, as the film has to collect nearly $2.5M to break even in the US.
