The movie had a clash with the multistarrer Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalli Chettu during its initial release, yet it became commercially successful.
VV Vinayak directed Nayak, which had the gorgeous beauties Kajal Aggarwal and Amala Paul as the leading ladies. Brahmanandam, Jaya Prakash Reddy, and Posani Krishna Murali’s comedy played a crucial role in the film’s success. Thaman composed the tunes.
