After the success of her debut production Committee Kurrollu, Niharika Konidela is back with her second film under Pink Elephant Pictures. This new project, tentatively titled PEP 2, features Sangeeth Shobhan and Nayan Sarika in the lead roles, with Manasa Sharma making her directorial debut.
The film was formally launched today with a pooja ceremony at the Glass House in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Directors Nag Ashwin, Mallidi Vassishta, and Kalyan Shankar graced the event and performed the ceremonial first shot. Nag Ashwin gave the first clap, Vassishta rolled the camera, and Kalyan Shankar directed the first scene.
PEP 2 is said to be a fantasy-comedy, promising a mix of imagination and laughs. The shoot begins on July 15 in and around Hyderabad. The film also features a vibrant ensemble cast including Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji, Tanikella Bharani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Getup Srinu, and others. Music is by Anudeep Dev.
