The audio launch of Suriya’s upcoming film Vishwanath & Sons was held in Coimbatore today in the presence of the film’s cast, crew and hundreds of fans. While the event had several memorable moments, producer Naga Vamsi’s speech became one of the biggest highlights.
Thanking Suriya for believing in the team, Naga Vamsi said the actor trusted two young filmmakers from the Telugu industry right from the narration stage and never had any doubts about the project.
He also said he has been assuring Suriya’s fans from day one that they would get to see the iconic Sanjay Ramasamy once again. Expressing complete confidence in the film, Vamsi said the team strongly believes in its content.
Talking about Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Vamsi clarified that he was not comparing the two films or making an arrogant statement. He said every producer believes in their own film, and with the same confidence, he believes Vishwanath & Sons will become “their Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Tamil.”
His statement instantly caught everyone’s attention and has now become one of the biggest talking points from the Coimbatore audio launch.
Vishwanath & Sons stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. The film is scheduled to release in Telugu and Tamil on August 14, 2026.
