The new trend of re-releases is working big time in the Telugu industry. Films like Pokiri, Jalsa, and recently Chennakeshava Reddy have created huge records. This has once again shown the power and love of the Telugu audience who crave for good films. There are many re-releases lined up in the days to come.
Now the next film to continue the trend is Nithiin’s Adavi which was directed by controversial and sensational director Ram Gopal Varma. RGV took to his Twitter today and posted that Adavi will be re-released on October 14th in theatres.
For the unversed, Adavi is a jungle adventure which released in 2009. The film was originally shot in Hindi as Agyaat and later dubbed into Telugu as Adavi. Priyanka Kothari, Gautham Rode, and Rasika Dugal played key roles. The film’s sequel was also announced at the end of the film but it never kicked off.
