Today marks the 27th death anniversary of former Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and legendary actor NT Ramarao. Nandamuri family members, several film industry personnel, and thousands of fans paid their tributes to the stalwart messiah at NTR Ghat near the Hussain Sagar Lake in Hyderabad this morning.

Now, a video of NT Ramarao’s son and star hero Balakrishna ordering the removal of the banners featuring his nephew Jr NTR alongside NT Ramarao’s image at NTR Ghat has been going viral on social media and is causing a huge storm in the film and political circles. Balayya looked visibly angry over NTR fans erecting the Young Tiger’s banners at NTR Ghat and instructed his assistants to immediately remove the banners. Another viral video showed fans removing the banners upon Balayya’s instructions.

Needless to say, the latest incident has once again made the years-long rift between Balakrishna and NTR wide open. Fans are awaiting NTR’s reaction to Balayya’s fury, while it’s almost certain that the Devara star will maintain stoic silence over the issue.
