O’ Romeo, the latest film starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, is finally set to reach a wider audience on OTT. While the film premiered on Amazon Prime Video on March 27, 2026, it was only available on a rental basis, which kept many viewers away during its initial release.
That is about to change. Starting tomorrow, the film will move out of the rental section and become available for all subscribers at no extra cost. This shift is expected to give O’ Romeo a much-needed second life on streaming.
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film also features Nana Patekar and Avinash Tiwary in key roles. The story is inspired by real events and follows Sapna, played by Triptii Dimri, as she sets out on a dangerous path of revenge after her husband’s murder. Her journey leads her to train under Hussain Ustara, a deadly hitman played by Shahid Kapoor, as she prepares to take down a powerful underworld figure.
Although the film did not perform well at the box office, it remains a strong and well-crafted project backed by Vishal Bhardwaj Films and T-Series. With its move to free streaming, O’ Romeo now has a real chance to connect with a much larger audience.
