This week is set to be a treat for OTT lovers, with several movies and series releasing to entertain audiences. Take a look at what’s coming up your way in the digital space.
Citadel Season 2:
Global star Priyanka Chopra’s spy thriller series Citadel Season 2 is gearing up for release on May 6, 2026. In the first season, the spy agency Citadel is destroyed. In Season 2, former agents Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra) and Mason Kane (Richard Madden) reunite to take on a rogue organization called Manticore. Produced by the Russo Brothers, with David Weil serving as the showrunner, the series will have all episodes released at once on Prime Video on May 6. Along with the existing cast, new actors like Merle Dandridge will also be seen this season.
Dacoit:
Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s romantic action thriller Dacoit: A Love Story is gearing up for its digital release on May 8, 2026. The film is set to stream in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on Netflix. The movie also features Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zain Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla in key roles. Dacoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and presented by Annapurna Studios.
Vaazha 2:
The recent Kerala industry hit Vaazha 2 is coming to Jio Hotstar on May 8. The film will be available in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages. Hashir H, Alan Bin Siraj, Ajin Joy, and Vinayak V played the lead roles in the film. Directed by debutant Savin SA, the film is jointly produced by Imagin Cinemas, WBTS Productions, Shine Screens, Signature Studios, and Icon Studios.
LIK (Love Insurance Kompany):
Pradeep Ranganathan faced his first flop with Love Insurance Kompany. The futuristic rom-com entertainer will start streaming from May 6 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages on Prime Video. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, Krithi Shetty played the female lead. S. J. Suryah, Yogi Babu, Gouri G Kishan, and Mysskin play key roles. The project is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under Seven Screen Studio in collaboration with Nayanthara. Anirudh composed the tunes.
Lukkhe:
Directed by Himank Gaur, Lukkha explores gang rivalries and drug-related crimes against the backdrop of rap culture. It features Palak Tiwari, King, Raashii Khanna, Lakshvir Singh Saran, and Shivankit Singh Parihar in key roles. Lukkhe will have its premiere on May 8 on Prime Video.
Bharatnatyam 2 Mohiniyattam:
The blockbuster Malayalam dark comedy thriller, Bharatnatyam 2 Mohiniyattam, helmed by Krishnadas Murali, will make its digital debut on May 8. Netflix holds the post-theatrical streaming rights. Saiju Kurup, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagadish, Vinay Forrt, Baby Jean, Kalaranjini, and Sreeja Ravi played key roles. It is a sequel to the 2024 Bharatnaytam.
