OTT Releases This Week: System, Madhuvidhu, Desi Bling, The Mummy, and more coming to Amazon Prime Video, Jio Hotstar, Netflix, and more

This week, multiple movies and shows are set to entertain the OTT audiences. Take a look at what’s coming up your way in the digital space.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy:

The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she returns, but what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare. The supernatural horror film directed by Lee Cronin is now available to rent on Prime Video. The film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Verónica Falcón in the lead roles.

Desi Bling:

This Netflix show featuring Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash explores luxury lifestyles, glamor-filled parties, and personal rivalries among Dubai’s elite groups. The series will start streaming from May 20.

Sathi Leelavathi:

Sathi Leelavathi marked the recent outing of Lavanya Tripathi Konidela following her marriage to Varun Tej. The film failed to make an impact at the box office. The rom-com entertainer will be available for streaming from May 20 on Sun NXT in Telugu and Tamil languages. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan played the protagonist.

Jack Ryan – Ghost War:

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan returns with bigger explosions, darker conspiracies, and a high-stakes global mission straight out of a spy thriller fantasy. John Krasinski returns as CIA operative Jack Ryan alongside Michael Kelly, Wendell Pierce, and Sienna Miller. The show blends intense espionage with gripping, edge-of-the-seat action. The new season will start streaming on Prime Video from May 20.

System:

System is an upcoming Prime Video original film starring Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika in the lead roles. The thrilling courtroom drama will have its premiere on May 22. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer, the film is about a privileged prosecutor who joins forces with a humble stenographer to expose long-buried injustices, leading to a clash between power and justice. The movie also stars Ashutosh Gowariker, Preeti Agarwal, Adinath Kothare, Aashriya Mishra, Gaurav Pandey, and others in crucial roles.

Madhuvidhu :

The Malayalam family comedy entertainer starring Sharaf U Dheen and Kalyani Panicket will start streaming from May 22 on Sony LIV. The movie revolves around a young man who struggles to find a bride because of his unusual and chaotic family environment. Madhuvidhu will also be available in other languages from the said date.
