After the debacle of Thug Life, Mani Ratnam joined hands with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi for his next directorial. Sai Pallavi has been roped in as the female lead. The shoot is expected to kickstart in July.

Madras Talkies is bankrolling the film in association with Lyca Productions and India Talkies. AR Rahman is set to compose the music. Vijay Sethupathi has previously worked with Mani Ratnam on Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The film marks Sai Pallavi’s first association with Mani Ratnam and Vijay Sethupathi.
