Shaakuntalam starring star heroine Samantha is one of the biggies to arrive this summer. The team postponed the release multiple times as they wanted the audience to have a blasting experience in theatres. Finally, the mythological drama is confirmed to hit the screens on 14th April 2023, both in 2D and 3D formats.

Samantha, who watched the movie recently, said that she is gobsmacked by the storytelling manner of Gunasekhar. Today the team of Shaakuntalam began the promotions on a divine note by seeking blessings in Peddamma temple, Hyderabad. Seen here in the picture is team Shaakuntalam posing in front of the temple.

Malayalam hero Dev Mohan makes his Telugu debut with the movie. Produced by Neelima Guna under Gunaa Team Works, the film has an ensemble cast of Prakash Raj, Mohan Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Gautami, Ananya Nagalla, Aditi Balan, and Kabir Singh Dulhania in key roles. Mani Sharma composed the music.
