Movie buffs in Hyderabad are over the moon after the official announcement of an IMAX screen returning to the city. The city, which celebrates cinema like no other regardless of a film’s scale or cast, has now been rewarded with an IMAX screen, which was long overdue.
Mahesh Babu, Asian Cinemas, and Rana Daggubati have come together to realize the long-standing wish of cinephiles. The picture attached here was taken when Suniel Narang’s family signed the agreement with IMAX Corporation.
The premium-format screen is coming to AMB Cinemas Victory (Sudarshan 70 mm), located near RTC X Roads. Plans are underway to complete the works and inaugurate it by December 2026. Reportedly, one more IMAX screen is also coming to Hyderabad.
