It’s been a while since star heroine Pooja Hegde appeared in a South Indian film. The actress is currently working on a Hindi film titled Sanki which features star kid Ahan Shetty as the protagonist. The movie is scheduled for release on Valentine’s Day 2025. According to a latest report, Pooja Hegde will play the leading lady in an upcoming Tamil movie.

Reportedly Pooja will be seen alongside star Kollywood actor Suriya in the film that will be directed by Karthik Subbaraj. If the rumors turns out to be true it will be third Tamil movie for Pooja Hegde after Mugamoodi and Beast.
Tentatively titled Suriya44, the film is film is expected to go on floors in the first week of June in Andaman Islands.

Malayalam actor Joju George will be seen in a vital role. Suriya’s 2D Entertainment in collaboration with Stone Bench Films will produce this biggie. Santosh Narayanan will compose the tunes. The team has planned another key schedule in Ooty as per the report.
