Ace writer Vijayendra Prasad, who became a nation-wide phenomenon post the success of Baahubali, had made a successful entry in Bollywood with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Later, he pitched more scripts to Salman Khan, Aamir, and there’s even a big budget film in the discussion about the early years of RSS.
Now, the writer is set to make his foray into Malayalam cinema. He is said to be penning the screenplay for an upcoming big budget mythological epic in Malayalam. Vijeesh Mani is going to direct the film and it’s expected to go on floors later this year. So far, the team hasn’t locked the actors and rest of the crew yet. And it remains to be seen if the film will make a big splash in Malayalam or not.
Meanwhile, few weeks ago, there were reports that Vijayendra Prasad has pitched another story to Vijay in Tamil cinema and it’s not yet clear if the film will take off anytime soon. More details are awaited.
