Priyamani is all excited about shooting an item number for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film titled Chennai Express. She was approached for the song few weeks ago and after much deliberation she accepted the offer. Rohit Shetty is directing the film and it stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The song will be shot from tomorrow near Wai, Maharashtra. “Off to pune in a bit!!!and then to wai!!!!shoot for chennai express starts tomorrow…excited and kicked!!!!kickass song!!!” Priyamani posted on Twitter.
For the past few days, she had been busy shooting for Samudra’s upcoming film Chandi in Hyderabad. Priyamani and Deepak are playing the lead roles. Priyamani is doing an action packed role in this film and she underwent some training in horse riding and archery for the film. The first schedule came to an end on February 16 and the next schedule will begin from February 27 and it’ll go on till March 15.
