Director Puri Jagan had to intervene in real life to save a heroine from harassment. His son Akash is making his debut with Andhra Pori and shooting is going on in Khammam.
During a set visit by Puri’s wife, it came to light that a local SI named Shanmuka Sharma was harassing heroine Ulka by coming to her room regularly.
When the matter reached Puri, he took it up with the higher authorities and immediate action was taken on the offending SI. Ulka was reportedly extremely happy with Puri for this timely help.
