Yesterday, following his controversial “antisocial elements” statement after visiting the Tuticorin Sterlite Protest victims, actor turned politician Rajinikanth was questioned about his remarks by the journalists at the airport. Rajini shocked everyone by retorting in an agressive tone, saying, “Don’t ask me how I know, I know all of that. If there are going to be protests for every issue, Tamil Nadu will turn into a graveyard.”
Even as Rajinikanth’s unexpected reaction received flak from the media and opposition, the Super Star took to Twitter and apologized for his aggressive tone. Rajini said that the Chennai Press Association felt that he spoke in a rude manner at the airport yesterday. “I do not have any intention to offend anyone. I apologize to the journalists,” tweeted the stalwart actor.
