The mania around Ram Charan’s Peddi has officially gone global. The film has opened to a sensational response in North America, crossing $200K in pre sales within days of bookings going live. More than 7,500 premieres tickets have already been sold, making it one of the fastest Indian films to register such numbers.

What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that Peddi reportedly crossed the $100K mark in just 5 hours, setting a new benchmark for Indian cinema in the region. Trade analysts believe the film is now comfortably heading toward a massive opening weekend in North America.

The buzz is expected to intensify further with the grand trailer launch event planned in Bhopal on May 16. Music composer A. R. Rahman is expected to perform live at the event, adding to the already soaring anticipation surrounding the film.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a rural sports action drama that features Ram Charan in a rugged and physically transformed avatar, which has become a major talking point on social media. The film is scheduled for its worldwide premiere on June 3, followed by a grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
