The upcoming epic Ramayana is gearing up for a major global launch. Its highly anticipated trailer is scheduled to debut at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) on July 23, 2026.
Producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari, and lead actors Ranbir Kapoor and Yash will head to the convention to present the film in person. Although Sai Pallavi, who portrays Sita, will not be attending the panel, the event still promises exclusive footage, live performances, and special giveaways for fans.
To accommodate the massive crowd, the presentation has secured Ballroom 20, the convention’s second-largest venue with a capacity of nearly 4,800 seats. This prominent setting underscores the production team’s ambition to establish the project as a worldwide cinematic event.
The high-profile showcase comes on the heels of the film’s four-minute-and-fifteen-second trailer receiving a ‘U’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
By launching its promotional campaign on such an influential pop culture stage, Ramayana aims to break new ground for Indian cinema on the international market.
