Rana Naidu, a web series starring Victory Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles, is all set to arrive on Netflix on March 10, 2023. This is the Indian adaptation of the popular American TV series Ray Donovan. It is directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma. Ahead of its OTT arrival, the team attended a press meet in Hyderabad today.

Addressing the media, Rana said that he and his uncle Venkatesh decided to venture into the OTT world after having discussed it with each other during the pandemic. Rana said he plays the character who saves film stars, industrialists, and politicians from their problems in Rana Naidu.

Rana said that in Rana Naidu, a family drama runs around a dark world which, according to him, is tough to make in films. Rana Naidu is a gangster story of south Indians that happens in Mumbai, which I found to be very interesting, said Rana.

Rana noted that when he and Venkatesh thought of working together, they wanted to do something unique without sticking to cliched stories. Venkatesh uncle and I playing loggerheads is the most challenging part of Rana Naidu, said the Baahubali actor.
