Actress Rashmika Mandanna scored a huge Pongal blockbuster with Varisu. She then followed it up with the Tamil-Telugu fantasy drama, Rainbow, which was launched in Hyderabad yesterday. Now, the latest buzz in Kollywood circles reveals that Rashmika is in talks for a straight Tamil flick.
According to the buzz, Rashmika is being considered for the leading lady’s role in the next film of Pradeep Ranganathan, the young actor-director who delivered the sensational youthful Tamil entertainer, Love Today. Furthermore, Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman will be scoring the soundtrack for the movie.
A debutant named Midhun, a former associate of AR Murugadoss, will be directing the movie. More details and an official announcement on this exciting project are awaited.
