Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s emotional romantic drama, Dear Comrade, has had a decent first weekend worldwide. The film collected nearly Rs 19 crore share worldwide in its 3-day box-office journey. This is the highest first weekend share in Vijay’s career.
However, after a huge opening day, Dear Comrade slowed down a bit and it’s a concern for its distributors. The real challenge for Dear Comrade begins today as the film is yet to collect nearly 50 percent of the buyers’ investments.
Dear Comrade will fare well in Telangana on Monday due to a Bonalu festival holiday. Whether the film can manage to pick up pace and break even before the August 2nd releases hit screens or not remains to be seen.
