Nikhil Siddhartha last appeared in Appudo Ippudo Eppudo, which ended up as a box office failure. The young actor has been fully invested in his next ambitious project, Swayambhu, which was originally planned to release in cinemas on February 13, 2026, in eight languages, including foreign languages.

Said to be the biggest film of his career, Swayambhu is being directed by debutant Bharat Krishnamachari. However, the film’s release has now reportedly been pushed back from its planned date. The makers are currently looking at a March or April release, with more details expected to be announced soon.

Set against a period war backdrop, the high-budget action drama features Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh as the female leads. The film is being produced by Pixel Studios, with K Senthil Kumar handling the cinematography and Ravi Basrur composing the music.
