Jr NTR’s Dragon had its glimpse released recently and it has enthralled fans. The glimpse is nearing 100 million digital views, and director Prashanth Neel has already begun the film’s promotions by interacting with the media.
In his recent interaction with Variety, Neel spoke about Dragon and also shared a fresh update on Salaar 2, which Prabhas fans are eagerly waiting for. He said that his current focus is entirely on Dragon. However, when asked about Salaar 2, he revealed that it will be his immediate next film after completing Dragon.
Talking about KGF 3, Neel stated that there is no movement on the project at the moment and that it will take time to commence, as both he and Yash are occupied with their respective commitments for the next few years.
Dragon is slated for release on June 11, 2027. By then, Prabhas is also expected to complete Spirit, which is aiming for a March 5, 2027 release. Hence, both Prabhas and Neel are likely to begin work on Salaar 2 in mid 2027, targeting a release in 2028. Hombale Films will bankroll the big-budget sequel.
