Rakul Preet, who has been shooting for her upcoming Tamil film NGK, can’t stop raving about director Selvaraghavan’s vision. The actress is paired opposite Suriya in the film and it also stars Sai Pallavi in a lead role.
Interestingly, Rakul’s first Kannada film was a remake of 7/G Brindavan Colony and now, after all these years, she’s teaming up with Selvaragahavan. Talking about her experience of working with him, she said, “I’ve heard people tell me that Selva is a thorough professional and that I can find a new dimension to my acting with him. So, I didn’t know what to expect, and I went there with a clean state. That he is an institute in himself is an understatement. He is a tough taskmaster and I got to do something that I haven’t done before.”
Not surprisingly, the director’s vision in etching her role has left Rakul speechless. “I can’t even say that this is a role that I haven’t done before, because I hadn’t even imagined in my head that there can be a character like this. It’s something that I haven’t even visualised before. It’s quite a powerful and well-written role, and at this point of time, I can’t divulge too many details either,” Rakul added.
