A film based on Lord Subramanya Swamy, also known as the God of War, was earlier planned by star director Trivikram Srinivas with Allu Arjun. Later, Jr. NTR came into the picture, and confusion still remains about who will eventually play the lead role. Director Kishore Tirumala had also announced his intention to make a film on the same deity.
Much to the surprise of all, Kollywood has announced a new rural entertainer based on the God of War (Murugan in Tamil). The movie is titled Seyon, and it will be headlined by Sivakarthikeyan. The first look was released today, and the film will be directed by Sivakumar Murugesan, known for Thaai Kizhavi.
Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran will produce the project under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International. The title promo will be unveiled at 10 AM tomorrow. The film marks the first collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and music composer Santhosh Narayanan.
