Today, Sonakshi Sinha entered a new phase of her life by officially tying the knot with the Bollywood actor Zaheer Iqbal. Sonakshi’s better half made his acting debut with the film Notebook. The duo acted together in the film Double XL. After being in a relationship for seven years, the couple exchanged vows at Sonakshi’s residence in Mumbai.
The couple posted their wedding pictures through their social media accounts. The wedding ceremony marks an intimate affair with the presence of their family members and dearest ones. What’s more special is it is a civil marriage under the Special Marriage Act. Zaheer Iqbal’s father stated that the marriage refrained from Hindu or Muslim rituals, underscoring the significance of their strong bond over religious conventions.
A grand reception is going to be held in Bastian, Mumbai, and many Bollywood celebrities are likely to attend this event to bless the newlyweds. On the professional front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Her new film Kakuda is set for direct digital release on 12th July on ZEE5.
