Not once but many times in the past, India’s pride SS Rajamouli expressed his wish to make a film on the Indian epic Mahabharata. The legendary filmmaker has once again made some fascinating comments about the same during his visit to a conclave of surgeons.
One of the surgeons told Rajamouli that he saw a TV serial about Mahabharata that spanned over 266 episodes. He asked Rajamouli how many episodes will the director make to tell the entire story. Rajamouli said it would take a year just to read the existing versions of Mahabharata in the country.
Rajamouli said that Mahabharata’s story can be told in 10 films (10 parts). However, Rajamouli said that this number is just an assumption. These comments of Rajamouli about the Indian epic have piqued the interest of audiences all over.
