Vetrimaaran is one of the star directors in Tamil. With his solid filmography, the director has earned a special name for himself in the industry, and now the star heroes are very excited to work with him. His next flick is Viduthalai, a period action crime thriller starring comedian Soori in the lead role. This is a two-part film and has Vijay Sethupathi in a crucial cameo.

The movie has a good buzz in Kollywood, and the trailer suggests that the film will be raw and intense. The latest update is that Viduthalai part 1 received an “A” certificate from the censor board. The runtime is said to be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The director’s previous films, Vada Chennai, Polladhavan, and Visaranai, were also certified A by CBFC. The audiences love the fact that Vetrimaaran will present his films in a raw and rustic manner, balancing the emotional angle too. It seems like Viduthalai, too, will be in the director’s trademark style. Viduthalai part one releases on 31st March 2023.
