Young hero Sumanth Prabhas is set to entertain audiences with the romantic drama Godari Gattupaina set against the Godavari backdrop. Directed by newcomer Subash Chandra and produced by Red Puppet Productions, the film stars Nidhi Pradeep as the female lead. Jagapathi Babu plays a crucial role.
Ahead of the release on Friday, Sumanth Prabhas interacted with the media. He said, “Godari Gattupaina is a super-cute film set against the Godavari backdrop. The film has neat emotions. Jagapathi Babu garu’s role has a relatability factor like that of his old films, like Subhalagnam and Family Circus. After Mem Famous, I heard many stories. That is when I came across Subash garu, who narrates stories and emotions with uniqueness.”
Sumanth Prabhas added, “Generally, in films, auto-drivers are shown as mass characters. But some of them are also innocent and cute. In the film, the protagonist gives importance to friends and family. The movie also features an auto race. Godari Gattupaina blends fun and emotions. Every character is crucial.”
