Surprise: Nani’s The Paradise Beats Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh & Sundeep Kishan Films in Ticket Sales

The Paradise is pulling off an unexpected box-office feat. Despite receiving mixed to almost negative word of mouth, the Nani-starrer is currently showing stronger ticket-booking momentum than the October 2 releases headlined by Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and Sundeep Kishan.

The film has already reached breakeven in the Nizam region, including GST, giving it another reason to remain in the box-office conversation despite the uneven response.

What makes the trend more interesting is the performance of the competing releases. On its second Saturday, which marked day 10, The Paradise recorded around 27K ticket sales on BookMyShow. That is higher than the day 2 numbers of Fahadh Faasil’s Don’t Trouble The Trouble, which sold 14.52K tickets. Keerthy Suresh’s Dorothy has also failed to show a notable sales trend so far.

Meanwhile, Sundeep Kishan’s Sigma, which opened with around 54K tickets sold, saw its bookings fall to 25.19K on Day 2 – roughly half of its opening-day figure. Thella Kaagitham, which was expected to attract a strong youth audience, also stood at 22.62K ticket sales on day 2.

In other words, The Paradise is currently holding an advantage over every October 2 release in terms of BookMyShow ticket sales, despite arriving with considerably mixed talk. The contrast becomes even more notable because the competing films came with the advantage of fresh releases and established stars such as Fahadh Faasil, Keerthy Suresh and Sundeep Kishan.

The focus now shifts to the coming days. If The Paradise continues to maintain this momentum, it could turn into one of the more unexpected performers of the current Telugu box-office season, while the October 2 releases will need stronger word of mouth and sustained bookings to catch up.
