In the meantime, his rumoured partner and co star Trisha Krishnan visited Tirumala. She shared glimpses of her visit on Instagram, and videos of her at the temple are widely circulating online. Whether her visit was to pray for Vijay’s success or part of a birthday ritual remains unclear.

If Vijay wins, it would be a remarkable moment in the history of Tamil Nadu elections, with exit polls indicating support in his favour. The final outcome, however, remains to be seen.
