The 69th National Film Awards were announced yesterday, and Telugu cinema won 10 awards, making every Telugu movie buff proud. This hasn’t happened till now in the history of Tollywood, and hence, it surely calls for a celebration. Allu Arjun scripted history by winning the best actor award.
But as the jury committee stated, a few started expressing their disappointment since a few films couldn’t make it to the final list. Natural Star Nani took to his Instagram story and expressed his dissatisfaction as Suriya’s Jai Bhim missed out on the awards.
Jai Bhim, which was released directly on Prime Video, is a critically acclaimed film directed by T.G. Gnanavel. A few opine that Jai Bhim deserved an award in one of the categories and are supporting Nani’s opinion. Nani congratulated all the winners, including the teams of RRR, Pushpa 2, and Uppena.
