Bhairavam, starring Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, and Nara Rohit, is now out in theatres. The action drama directed by Vijay Kanakamedala received mixed reports and is off to a decent start at the box office. Today, the team interacted with the media.
At the event, Manoj said, “Movies are already being affected by IPL and OTT. The festival dates are blocked by biggies. I feel re-releases should be avoided during the weekends. It’s better if they are scheduled during the weekdays because re-releases have a different pull.”
Manoj added, “One Telugu film killing another Telugu film isn’t a good practice. But again, there might be arguments stating that people will be free only during weekends. A collective decision should be taken by the industry’s bigwigs regarding this issue.”
