UKUP postponed to second half of July

Manchu Manoj, Balakrishna starrer Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara has been postponed even further. Few days ago we had reported that the film is likely to release in the first week of July; however, Lakshmi Manchu, who’s producing the film, has revealed that the film is likely to be released in the second half of July. “#ukup releasing in July 2nd half. Date not confirmed yet but will keep u updated. @HEROMANOJ1 working super hard w post work in chennai,” Lakshmi Manchu posted on Twitter. The film’s principal shooting was wrapped up couple of weeks ago; however, there’s a lot of post production work before the film’s first copy is ready. Moreover, with several big films including Eega, Julaayi and Devudu Chesina Manushulu, lined up for release in the first half of July, Lakshmi Manchu has wisely pulled out of the race so that her first production venture UKUP can get a wider release. Sekhar Raja has directed the film. It also stars Deeksha Seth, Sonu Sood and Prabhu in important roles. Bobo Sashi has composed the music.
