Upcoming Telugu romantic film Baby, written and directed by Sai Rajesh, who produced the National Award-winning Color Photo, is up for a grand release on 14th July. Anand Deverakonda, Vaishnavi Chaitanya, and Viraj Ashwin are the lead actors. SKN produced it under Mass Movie Makers. As the release date is nearing, the makers are busy with promotions. Today the leading lady Vaishnavi Chaitanya interacted with the media.
Vaishnavi said that every actor needs a role to showcase his/her abilities and added that Baby is one such character for her. Vaishnavi Chaitanya stated that she was in a trance when Sai Rajesh narrated her Baby script. Vaishnavi mentioned that Sai Rajesh kept her going all the way. She said that she plays a typical student who undergoes a drastic transformation.
The young actress made it clear that their intention is not to differentiate people regarding color. Vaishnavi believes that the audience will relate to her character. “Baby is a heartfelt, emotional love story. The story focuses on situations and how the characters react to those situations. There is no hero in the film because situations play a significant role,” said Vaishnavi.
The actress said that her parent’s eyes were filled with eyes when they saw her on-screen at the teaser launch event. Vaishnavi said that although her roles in films such as ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ and ‘Valimai’ were small, she learned a lot on-site. The actress said that SKN is the kind of person who would never compromise on quality. Vaishnavi stated that she prefers doing performance-oriented roles in her upcoming films.
