A few days back, we had reported that Venkatesh received an offer from the makers of Drishyam to be part of the sequel in its Telugu version. The news was that Venkatesh watched the film and would take a call soon.
The update is that Venkatesh has decided to do the remake and as per the news, it will be launched on the 5th of March in a grand manner. Suresh Productions will be bankrolling this film and Jeetu Joseph, who made the original will direct the Telugu remake.
Venkatesh scored one of the biggest hits in his career with the film Drishyam. Drishyam 2, which has Mohan Lal and Meena in the main roles is out on Amazon Prime.
