A web series named Rana Naidu, starring Victory Venkatesh and Rana Daggubati, is all set to arrive on Netflix on March 10, 2023. This is the Indian adaptation of the popular American TV series Ray Donovan. It is directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma. Ahead of its OTT arrival, Venkatesh had a brief interaction with the media and shared his working experience with Rana.

Venkatesh said that Rana Naidu had been an exciting journey for him. The senior hero said there would be differences while working on a film and a web show. He stated that it took a while for him to adjust to the storytelling style of the web series. Venkatesh noted that it was a refreshing change for him to play a negative role which helped him to learn unexplored things about new crafts.

It has been challenging to play a different character, but Naga Naidu’s role gave me satisfaction, said Venkatesh. The senior actor stated that playing the opposing force with Rana isn’t easy, though they share a good off-screen rapport. Venkatesh added that bringing the war equation between him and Rana on screen is a difficult task.

Venkatesh viewed this series as a good thing that happened to him as an artist. The audience will get connected to the new kind of emotions, situations, and our characters, said Venkatesh. The Daggubati actor said that Rana Naidu has been a new journey for him and Rana and added that they took each other’s suggestions to get things right.
