Vikram has been one of the few actors in South who has constantly experimented with his looks and genre to draw the audiences to the theatres. Barring Saamy 2, some of his recent films like I and Iru Murugan have had him play complex roles, and the actor has always been praised for his dedication and professionalism.
The latest news is that the actor has signed a Malayalam film which is set in pre-independence era. To be directed by Anwar Rasheed, the film reportedly explores the 1921 Malabar rebellion against the British. The film is expected to go on floors soon. More details are awaited.
Meanwhile, all eyes are on his son, Dhruv who will be making his acting debut with Varma, the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy. Bala has directed the film.
